National Rifle League 22 Information

Location: BRRC / 20 bench

What can I shoot?
Any rifle as long as it is chambered in 22lr
Do I need to be an NRL22 member?
No, you can shoot with or without a membership. The only difference is NRL 22 member scores are posted for national ranking
Do I need to be a BRRC member?
No, the matches are open to members and non-members
How old do I have to be?
8 years of age is the minimum.
How are the matches laid out?
Matches will have a minimum of 5 stages (figure 6 or 7 though) requiring 10 rounds of ammunition per stage. Each stage is timed (2 minutes) and is set up in a PRS style format. The course of fire differs every month. The COF's are available for viewing on the NRL22 website prior to the match.
"Oh, I can't shoot those matches. I don't have a fancy, expensive rifle and I can't shoot like those PRS guys"
Nonsense, although this is a competition, we are laid-back group who really just likes to have fun and improve our shooting skills. There are different classes to help level the playing field depending on the type of rifle you shoot, your age and we even have a women's class as well. And don't worry about what gear you do or don't have. There is no shortage of experienced shooters that are more than willing to loan gear or whatever will help you improve and enjoy the sport.
